Video mapping, also known as projection mapping, is a new creative medium where video projectors are used to show an audio-visual narrative on the surface of irregular 3D objects such as buildings, theatrical stages or small indoor objects. We use video mapping as an entertaining and advertising tool, to impress the audience with extra dimensions, optical illusions and notions of movement onto previously static objects.
